As you know our next iLead meeting occurs next week on Wednesday, April 25th. Coincidently, we have invited your iSquad Faculty Advisors, iTech Coaches, and Depot Managers to the MOUSE Educators Conference on that day. Several of you read the day’s agenda and have inquired about participating in next week’s conference which is featuring a keynote address by Ejovi Nuwere, CEO of Gather. At and author of "Hacker Cracker" and will have hands-on technology workshops and lectures.
We hear you and have spoken to MOUSE. They have kindly agreed to allow our iTiL Principals to attend this event. As a result our meeting next week will be structured as followed…
You are invited to attend the full day event beginning at 9 a.m. at the Time & Life Building (1271 6th Ave., 8th fl, entrance on 50th Street – Take B/D/F/V to Rockefeller Center). The keynote begins at 9:45 a.m. or you may choose to arrive at noon, collect your lunch, and join the iLead break out session from 12:30 – 1:30 in Room B. Following our session there will be additional breakouts and conference activities followed by a cocktail reception at 5 p.m.
We hope you are able to join us next week. If you are able to join us, please register for the Educators Conference in two locations…
1 – Go to http://pd.nycoit.org/ and do an “Advanced Search” for iSquad. This registers you through the NYC DOE.
2 – Go to http://www.nycharities.org/event/event.asp?CE_ID=1021. This registers you through MOUSE and is a security requirement for admittance to the Time and Life Building--if you're not on this list you will not be admitted to the space. You must register no later than Monday at 4pm.
